The Sharing Place Food Pantry, located in the Lawrence Education and Community Center. During the construction period, we kindly request that volunteers use DOOR 3, located on the northside of the building.
Volunteers are needed to assist with unloading and sorting incoming deliveries at the pantry. Tasks may involve heavy lifting, bending, storing items overhead, and working in the freezer to store meat. Please make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Your comfort and safety are important to us as we work together to make a positive impact in our community.
No matter your previous experience or background, we welcome volunteers of all skill levels. Training will be provided, and our friendly team will be there to guide you every step of the way.
