What You'll Do:
Our Donation Pick-Up Drivers play a vital role in keeping The Sharing Place Food Pantry stocked and ready to serve our neighbors. Volunteers in this role drive our Sharing Place vans (Ford Transit) to local grocery stores to collect food and other items for the pantry. This role involves some heavy lifting and comfort behind the wheel.
Volunteers interested in driving The Sharing Place vans are asked to complete a few forms before getting started. We’ll need a photocopy of your driver’s license and a signed Driver Acknowledgement Form.
To join the Driving Team or learn more about this role, please contact communityengagement@lutheranfamily.org or call (317) 359-5467 ext. 216.
