What you'll do:
As a Home Delivery Driver for the SilverBox Home Delivery Program, you'll help bring food directly to neighbors who are not able to visit the pantry in person. Volunteers in this role will pick up the pre-packed boxes from The Sharing Place and deliver them on pre-set routes (5-8 stops) and drop off at neighbors' front door. You'll ensure deliveries are handled with care, greet recipients with kindness, and help extend The Sharing Place's services beyond our doors.

The Sharing Place Food Pantry: 6501 Sunnyside Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46236. Please enter through door #5 under The Sharing Place banner.
Shifts Available:
Every third Friday & Saturday of the month, 11:15 am- 1:30 pm
Requirements:
Volunteers must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Light to moderate lifting may be required when loading or unloading boxes.

Individuals or pairs who enjoy being out in the community and providing hands-on support. This role is perfect for volunteers who want to make a direct, personal impact by delivering food and kindness to our neighbors.
